The Hotel Room Key Finally Obsolete

The solution the Palo Alto, California, startup HOAU – which stands for HOtel AUtomation – designed combines a Wi-Fi connected tablet that hoteliers need to install in front of each room to unlock the door and a cloud-based system that manages the virtual keys and integrates with the hotels’ reservation and customer service system.
